Ayatul Kursi is a very important ayah (255) from Surah Al-Baqarah. Reading Ayatul Kursi has several benefits that have been mentioned in various ahadith.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi at the end of every obligatory prayer, nothing but death will prevent him from entering Paradise." [An-Nasa'i has narrated this and Ibn Hibban has declared it as sahih].

When you lie down in bed, recite Ayatul Kursi from beginning to end; a guardian angel will stay with you and no devil will come to you, until you wake up in the morning (Bukhari)
